Founder & Lead Instructor, Kontinuity Healthiness & Wellness LLC Creator, #Pump4ABeat Health Initiative

2023 | Organizational Launch & Community Trust-Building

  • Founded Kontinuity Healthiness & Wellness LLC (KHW) as a New York State–registered, nurse-led organization focused on community-centered health education, emergency preparedness, and men’s wellness.

  • Launched the #Pump4ABeat Health Initiative delivering Hands-Only CPR, AED awareness, BLS fundamentals, and Narcan education through free and low-cost community demonstrations.

  • Initiated grassroots outreach across community centers, faith-based institutions, and family resource hubs.

  • Engaged men’s mental health and wellness spaces using movement-based grounding and stress-regulation strategies.

  • Established trust within Black-led and underserved community spaces through culturally responsive, accessible health education.

Impact: Built a sustainable foundation for recurring CPR education and community health programming while establishing KHW as a trusted local resource.

2024 | Program Expansion, Mental Health & Emergency Preparedness

  • Developed and implemented the Power Moves™ Program, a movement-based mental wellness intervention supporting stress regulation, grounding, and physical activation.

  • Delivered Power Moves™ during men’s mental health programming, including the Black Men’s Mental Health Summit (September 2024).

  • Hosted FREE AHA First Aid/CPR/AED and Stop the Bleed® training (April 21, 2024) in partnership with F.O.R.C.E., providing hands-on lifesaving skills at no cost.

  • Continued Hands-Only CPR demonstrations at community centers, including the Dunbar Community Center.

  • Expanded paid CPR/BLS certification classes for organizations, childcare providers, and community agencies while maintaining community access.

  • Participated in Black Maternal Health Week Wellness Expo and Black Breastfeeding Week – Sankofa Giveback.

  • Attended the Collaborative Strategies for Nonprofits Conference hosted by Syracuse University’s Lender Center for Social Justice.

  • Featured guest on “Inspiration for the Nation” with George Kilpatrick.

Impact: Expanded scope into mental health, maternal health, and systems-level engagement while strengthening academic and institutional credibility.

October 2024 | Academic Leadership

  • Served as Keynote Speaker for the White Coat Ceremony & Scholarship Awards at Upstate Medical University – College of Nursing.

  • Delivered an address emphasizing resilience, community-centered care, and service beyond the bedside.

  • Represented KHW and #Pump4ABeat as a model of nurse-led community impact.

2025 | Scale, Men’s Health Leadership & Documented Impact

  • Coordinated and led the 2025 Get On The Beat Community Health Awareness Fair & Summit (March 22, 2025) at Destiny USA, engaging 250+ community members and 20+ organizations.

  • Managed sponsorships, MOUs, vendor coordination, and multi-topic health programming.

  • Participated in Health & Wellness Fair hosted by PEACE Inc. – Viola G. Chisholm Eastside Family Resource Center.

  • Engaged in Spring Into Summer Health & Wellness Fair at The People’s Church.

  • Co-led “Pancakes & Prostate” Community Men’s Health Awareness Breakfast (August 2, 2025) at The People’s AME Zion Church.

  • Delivered CPR, First Aid, AED, and Narcan training at Winning With Wellness Health Fest (November 15, 2025).

  • Conducted contracted BLS CPR certification classes for Dunbar Community Center, PEACE Inc., and Mattydale Oral & Facial Surgery.

  • Served in active leadership roles within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., integrating public health education with scholarship and maternal health initiatives.

  • Awarded Ronald R. Young Outstanding Alumni Brother of the Year (2025).

  • Impact: Demonstrated scalable leadership, sustained partnerships, and measurable community reach across health, faith, and civic sectors.

Organizational Financial Health & Sustainability (2024–2025)

  • Operated as an active, compliant small business with documented revenue reported on Schedule C.

  • Generated earned income through contracted CPR/BLS certification services for nonprofits and healthcare organizations.

  • Reinvested revenue into training supplies, certification materials, insurance, and community outreach.

  • Maintained a low-liability operating model with no long-term business debt.

  • Implemented a hybrid sustainability model blending earned revenue, sponsorships, and grant-supported community programming.
