Founder Story | David E. Cadet, RN

Kontinuity Healthiness & Wellness LLC was founded by David E. Cadet, RN, a travel registered nurse shaped by resilience, faith, service, and survival. Born significantly premature alongside his twin brother, David experienced lifesaving nursing care early in life, which inspired his passion for healthcare and giving back.

After years in critical care and behavioral health, David survived a life-altering motor vehicle accident in December 2021. His recovery deepened his commitment to emergency preparedness, self-care, and making lifesaving skills more accessible.

Since 2023, KHW has delivered dozens of trainings and community outreach initiatives across Central and Upstate New York. Through KHW and #Pump4ABeat, David continues to empower others with CPR, First Aid, Narcan, and Stop the Bleed® skills, while creating opportunities for future CPR instructors to serve alongside him.

Driven by the values of his Haitian immigrant parents — healthcare, service, faith, and perseverance — David uses his professional experience and personal testimony to promote health equity and build stronger, safer, and more prepared communities.
